Following two rounds of industry consultation and a subsequent review period for the proposed amendments to the 2020 legal documentation, the 2020 DSB Access and Usage Agreement and Policies have been finalised.
The changes are a result of industry feedback that has been received over the last 12 months including the annual consultation on the 2020 service provision, updates based on the experience gained from the operational service, as well as editorial, formatting and grammatical corrections. Details of the annual consultation and Final Consultation Report are available below.
The changes to the DSB Access and Usage Agreement and Policies will become effective 1st January 2020.

The Final Report on the annual consultation, related to the Proposed Amendments to Functionality, Data Submission Process, Service Levels, Service Availability & Cybersecurity for the 2020 service provision, was published on 19th August 2019. The Final Report presents a final snapshot of changes to be taken forward in 2020 based on industry feedback from both trade associations and individual DSB users. This final report should be read in conjunction with the 2020 Industry Consultation Paper 1 and 2020 Industry Consultation Paper 2 as well as the associated industry responses which are available below.
The DSB completed its second round of industry consultation on the Proposed Amendments to Functionality, Data Submission Process, Service Levels, Service Availability & Cybersecurity for the 2020 service provision on 29th July 2019. The second consultation summarized industry responses (from the first consultation) and set out further information and next steps. A 2nd webinar was hosted on Thursday 11th July 2019.

A webinar to address consultation related queries took place on Thursday 16th May 2019 setting out a series of proposed changes. The webinar set out the key themes in the first DSB Consultation Paper of 2019. The purpose of the webinar was to provide industry with an opportunity to submit any questions following publication of the first consultation paper on 9th May 2019. The initial consultation round closed at 5pm UTC on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
