Third Party Assurance - ISAE 3402 Type II Report

The DSB has undergone the International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3402 “Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organization”, covering the period 1 January to 31 December 2023. The audit was conducted by an Independent Service Auditor as part of the DSB’s governance framework.

The ISAE 3402 Type II Report can assist users and their auditors with information on the DSB’s policies, procedures and controls in place, as well as understand the design and implementation of controls. The Type II audit is undertaken on an annual basis relating to the previous calendar year.

Copies of the ISAE 3402 Type II Report can be made available upon request to both existing and potential users of the DSB. The ISAE 3402 Type II Report is for internal use only and cannot be redistributed in part or in full.

The DSB accepts no liability to any party in respect of the content of the ISAE 3402 report.

ISO 27001 Certification

In addition to the third party assurance audit, the DSB has undertaken ISO 27001 certification. ISO 27001 is an international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It provides a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure. It encompasses people, processes, and technology, ensuring that organizations can manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, and third-party information.

The DSB will be subject to regular surveillance audits to ensure compliance with the ISO standard and will be required to re-certify every three years to maintain its certification.
